Trio til the DEATH!

To all of our friends, new and old, I'd like to address our bass situation..

If any of you have been watching our videos on youtube, you'll see that all of our live videos as of now contain bass players.  The 2 players you would've seen are either Ryo Namura or Ivan Dominguez.  We love and appreciate these 2 awesome individuals, but have been sans bass player since the 1st of this year.  We loved what they brought to our band, but due to technological advances, lol, our inner vision to stay 3-piece has its chance to fulfill itself!!

SO, any of you offering to play bass for us, we love and appreciate you offering help, but BD is a trio and will continue to be a trio.  The soonest we have footage of us performing as we are now, we shall post frivolously!!  Until then, enjoy the styles of Ivan & Ryo :)

We will keep you posted on a release date as it approaches.

We have some other exciting news as well. BD will be traveling to the east coast to perform some shows with our friends Prospect Hill. If you haven't already checked them out, be sure that you do. They kick ass and we can't wait to rip it up with them! We have two dates booked, March 25th and 26th. Again, more details to come so be sure to keep checking in with us.

Thanks to everyone for your support! BD!!!

Popular music rant

Here comes a rant.

I fucking cannot stand when people like bullshit music. It's a complete personality turn-off. Sure there can be some good songs on the radio...but it's rare. It's frustrating for me to be around people that just have no fucking clue what real music is. Music that takes talent and heart. That's usually not the shit on the radio. Sorry to all the good radio stations out there, but you know what they say, guilty by association. So here's what I say, take the time to explore real music. Don't wait for radio stations and "normal" consumers to tell you what to like. Not only will it make you drastically cooler but it will diminish the lack of musical knowledge in our culture. Take a fucking leap and try something you're not usually into, it could surprise you.

Brett Favre: Throwin Picks & Textin Chicks!

So something is kinda bothering me people.

Being in the music industry, you get a lot of folks telling you what you SHOULD do, or what NEEDS to happen in order to succeed.  BROKEN DECENCY ain't about that.  I think the "indecency" aspect of this band doesn't necessarily mean that we're a bunch of no good heathens, or that we are at all trying to promote that the public act that way.  The "indecency" of our band explains more our want to change things, indecency is more defined as the rage against the norm, the decency if you will.  All popular music is in a state of decency right now, and it makes me sick, it's time to FUCK THAT UP!!  Like Busta says, Fuck what you heard, you ain't heard this before.  You can compare us to other female-fronted bands all you want, but I guarantee there isn't anything out there like us.  You can say we NEED a bass player, but why??  Because every other rock band has one???  Fuck that!!  That's my take on it at least, I mean, isn't change good???  Do we all want things to stay the same???  Please let us know what you want out of contemporary music,  I want your thoughts, positive and negative.
